Frosty Jiffy Pop and Bag Topper

I live in the Winter Wonderland (Michigan) and this winter is proving to be quite gorgeous with the snow clinging to the trees. Usually the wind comes along and blows the snow off the trees but this past week has been snowy with not much wind. Therefore, the trees are picture perfect.

Today's FREEBIE is a Frosty the Snowman Jiffy Pop Cover and a Frosty Bag Topper. Attach the Jiffy Pop topper with double-sided tape or use a low-temp glue gun. The bag topper fits a 3-inch baggie. You can download them here.

Reindeer Rootbeer & Sucker Crafts

Today I have a couple ideas for you.

The first is a 6-pack of Reindeer Rootbeer. This was originally posted at So Inspired. Lori Jean recently posted her version here. And now I share my verison. lol

You will need brown chenille stems for the antlers, craft eyes, red pom-poms, thin ribbon (I used metallic elastic cord) and jingle bells. Simply wrap the chenille stem just under the bottle cap and form into antlers. Use a glue-gun to glue on the eyes and nose. String the bell on the ribbon and tie around neck.

The next project is a Reindeer Sucker.
You will need approximately the size of a Kleenex square of brown fabric, ribbon or jute, brown chenille stems, craft eyes and red pom-pom. Place the sucker in the center of the fabric and tie below sucker at the neck. Form the antlers and glue to back of sucker. Add eyes and nose.

Happy Crafting!

The Purpose of Christmas & FREE Printable

Rick Warren, the author of The Purpose Driven Life, has a new book out, The Purpose of Christmas, New York, Howard Books, 2008. It's a quick read with profound truths. I recommend it as a gift of love to those who are new to the faith, those who struggle during the holidays, those who need a gentle yet powerful reminder that Jesus is the Reason for the Season or those who desire a deeper understanding of what Christmas is all about. In it he describes the purpose of Christmas as a time for celebration, for salvation and a time for reconciliation. Amazon says "Beautifully written, The Purpose of Christmas will stir readers to honor the true significance of Christmas and to nurture God's gifts of love and peace in the world."

FREE PRINTABLE
Today I have a bookmark for you to tuck into a book gift, a greeting card or use for yourself during the month. Print on card stock and laminate. If you don't have a laminator, cover it with clear contact paper (available in the house-wares section in your department store) both front and back before cutting it out. Click on image to view full size, then right-click to save it to your computer.

Love and Lord Bless, Lisajo
